I know what it is like to be hurt, to be restricted. To not be able to do everyday things like being active and experiencing a lot of pain. I’m talking about my past four broken arms.
All my past broken arms have required a cast. Not only does the cast restrict your lower arm (depending on where the break is,) but it somewhat blocks your thumb, and one of the times I broke my right arm (the side with my writing hand.) So, I basically had to choose between writing sloppy with pain, or writing sloppier. Also, every shower I took, I had to have one arm out. The cast could not get wet so I had to cover my arm with a tied off plastic bag. Whenever I would break my arm, it would not get washed for a whole month.
This anchor prevented me from doing things I liked to do. Such as difficulty playing Playstation, being not able to participate in AYSO (last time I broke my arm I was actually still doing that,) and I could not ride my bike. These four weeks of reduced activities usually made me get out of shape.
As a way to tell you how I how I broke my arm each time, I’m going to give you some advice: Don’t just dive off things for no reason (I was in preschool,) don’t attempt jumps on a motorcycle that is beyond your skill level, don’t climb a tree and then try to jump to a different branch, and definitely don’t go hiking in flip flops.
